Well, I just got home from my first kick-boxing class. One of my high school friends actually competes in tournaments and this initially started off with me going to take Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, but when I went last Friday, the guy suggested kick boxing. I put on some gloves, and it was a lot of fun, so I opted for that. He shows some Muay Thai techniques as well, so it should be good. My buddy will probably teach me some of the Jiu Jitsu moves; this technique is typically used in no-holds-barred type competitions such as the UFC.
Actually, I decided to sign up for this instead of going to the gym…it’s quite the work out and they have a bunch of free weights there anyway. I’m not trying to bulk up, but just get back to being somewhat cut
I’ve officially signed up @ H2O Martial Arts Academy, so soon enough I’ll be able to add kick-boxing to my VAST repertoire of skills/random knowledge
