You come home from going out and you’re blogging!!! Well…this wasn’t supposed to be a late night out but here I am, walking in at 2:35AM! I have to work @ 8AM!! People always say “Oh, you’re young, you can handle it! yadda yadda yadda” I guess it’s somewhat true so [...] While I was scanning all those newspaper clippings I found a nice pic of my mom and dad back in the day. I guess I can see the resemblance. When the VP in my mom’s old office saw me for the first time she said: “You’re the perfect mix of your mother and father!” I [...] When my mom heard I was writing up a list of ‘Girl requirements’ she told me that my dad had made a funny comment in a newspaper interview about cows behaving like bulls and vice versa. I guess that was some kinda’ Sri Lankan expression for the way girls were supposed to behave. Anyhow, my [...] Some people asked why is it that the GI refers to me as “Liger”. There’s quite a simple explanation: The first night E introduced me to his gf her sis came along…well at the time I’m not sure if she was his gf…but anyway…the GI is E’s gf’s sister. Get it? Got it? OK, so…to finish up the OT thing…basically after Suite 34, we met up w/ the GI and her friend [she refers to as] the [...] I took another day trip (OK, I guess night trip better describes it) to Ottawa this wknd. Andrew wanted to go and asked me if I felt like coming so we drove down together on Sat. night. When we got there E was sitting around playing Command and Conquer Generals w/ his roommate. It seems [...] OK…here it comes: this will probably be one of THE most controversial (and lengthy) entries (along with my thoughts on education), and we’ll see how many comments this one ends up getting…I don’t even know how to get this started really…ok…here we go: Obviously, I’m single. Quite frankly, I don’t have time for a girlfriend (more [...] For those of you who knew my cousin, he left the country for a while, and I hadn’t heard from him in about 2 years! This morning he called my house!! It was great to hear from him! He’s doing really well. If you wanna’ know more about it, unfortunately I can’t really discuss it [...] I had to drive my little sis to the dedication evening at my old high school. Basically, being a Xian school, every year they dedicate the school year to God. It’s a nice little event where the elementary school kids sing some songs, and then the high school choir sings something, and then there’s usually [...] Damn…so I just got home from school now. Once again working on this ICBC thing! I think I’m putting in such an effort because apparently Concordia MIS has only qualified for the final round 3 times in the past 9 years! Only the top 6 schools compete…I guess when there’s a bunch of schools from [...] |
