I did my first ICBC presentation today. We were supposed to present last week, but it got cancelled. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the teacher because I’ve heard he’s pretty rough. The class/presentation started about 30mins late; partly because we forgot to print out a hardcopy of our presentation and my partner had to go print it. The teacher comes up, pats me on the back and says: “You’re a very lucky man. I’m most effective when I’m pissed off!” Great. Not only are we the guinea pigs (we were the first presenters of the the semester) but now he’s pissed. I had to stop myself from laughing.
Anyway, thankfully the presentation went well. Did I really think it wouldn’t? Nah…I was only a little nervous as to how badly he was going to make fun of us, but he didn’t. Although deep down there’s a part of me that still wishes he did… 
After class I walked over to Chapters to try and buy that book about Networks I was discussing in an earlier post. Unfortunately the girl told me they didn’t have it, and she couldn’t even order it, so I would have to get it from Amazon. As I was walking through I was like “Damn…there’s a lot of books in here. I should start reading.” Since I couldn’t get the networks book, I opted for something a little more entertaining.
I bought a Dilbert book! 
I think I can appreciate it more than some people because I worked in an office for 4 years, and it’s just funny when that same situation happens in REAL LIFE! LOL
