ICBC Case Complete

We finally finished. Quite honestly, I’m not THAT happy with the final result. Don’t get me wrong: it’s OK, but I know it could be a LOT better. I suppose that’s what I get for starting a case 2 days before it’s due when I had for a month. I’ll have to see if I’m allowed to post it here once the competition is over.

Bottom line: If we don’t make it to the final, I’ll be slightly disappointed but not surprised. Maybe I’m just a bit cranky right now because my brain has been on overdrive for the past I don’t know how many hours.

Here’s something kinda’ cool though: Each computer in the lab we used had a dual monitor setup (i.e. your desktop is spread across 2 monitors), so together we had 4 screens to work with. Hopefully I’ll set something up like this at home. You don’t realize how useful this is until you’ve been sitting in front of it for 20 hours! :)

DOUBLE Dual Monitor Setup

Albert Camus said: “Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.”

Altered quote in my present mood: “Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Don’t walk beside me either. Just leave me the hell alone!”

I need sleep. Here’s an easy hip hop quote because I’m too lazy to think of something better:

“In God we trust-Yo it’s a must that you’ve heard of us, yo we murderers”

I should be feeling better tomorrow once I get back into my workout / kickboxing routine. I haven’t been able to do that for the past 2 weeks because of my renovations and this case study. Goodnight.
