Gems in Scotland

From now on, anyone who gets added to my link list will get an appropriate introduction. Fine. I’ll make some retro-active introductions later of those already on.

I was speaking to Em this evening about my trip to Sweden. Em is the cute girl who was recently in my Summer 1 classes. She’s a very bright kid who’s completing her final year of study in Scotland and has been there since September. Her website (Gems in Scotland) has officially made my link list. Em is back in Montreal for Xmas, so we’ve set a date when she’ll come over to give some pre-departure advice and of course we’ll be going to Dundees on Crescent for drinks! She told me to check out www.ryanair.com for the best way to get around Europe. I was surprised to see how cheap the plane tickets were! Essentially, I can travel through most of Europe (roundtrip) for around $100CDN. This is great. Now I’ll definitely have to:

Any other suggestions of things to do/see in Europe? I’m really trying not to get ahead of myself [as I often do], but I guess I need some sort of plan. Of course, if anyone feels the need to visit me while I’m out there for 6 months, feel free!
