I'm going to Sweden!!! :D

That’s right folks! The acceptance letter from KTH came in the mail today!! I’m pretty excited about it because I wasn’t sure if I’d get accepted due to my grades. I’m assuming my vast accomplishments at IKEA helped though! ;) Now is when the expenses start: I have to buy a laptop, a plane ticket and plan the budget for while I’m there. Last thing I need is to be stuck in Europe without cash! I’ve also realized there are numerous basic things I need to learn now before I leave such as:

Ironing a shirt (the right way). Below is a pic of my current method (It hurts sometimes, but it works!):

Putting on a tie. Before you laugh, I’ll have you know, the day E and I were going to Paul Martin’s garden party (yes, Paul Martin the prime minister), NO ONE in our group knew how to tie a tie. We ended up going without ties because of that! As a matter of fact I know more girls than guys who can tie ties! Notice the confused face, as I have no idea what I’m doing:

I’ll probably also have to learn how to cook more elaborate meals than KD and Rice Krispies squares. I know how to make some pretty good sushi though! :) Yup, the first time I ever cooked rice I decided to make something as intricate as sushi.

I can’t think of much else I don’t know how to do that will be necessary when I’m living on my own. And yes, I know how to do laundry! I’ve been doing my own laundry since I was about 12!
