Once again, more public beatings. This time, a fight broke out at the Pistons vs. Pacers game last night in Detroit. This afternoon I made the biggest purchase of my life (so far). I bought the Probe over 4 years ago for $3K, and today I bought a [...] Unfortunately, there was another brawl at a prominent hip hop event. Which once again, makes the whole hip-hop/rap scene look bad. I didn’t get to see footage from the Source awards a couple of years ago, but the most recent incident at the Vibe awards was very well covered. MTV has posted some excellent video [...] While driving to TO, I was telling E about this girl I met who’s a virgin but seems to go from boyfriend to boyfriend. Yes, I know it’s hard to meet virgins in this day and age, but she claims she is. Something about her turned me off, but I didn’t know what. E said: [...] Did anyone else hear about this? You can never underestimate stupidity: Quick summary: A woman used a $200 bill with Dubya’s picture and serial#DUBYA4U2001 on it. The best part is, the cashier in the fashion store gave [...] E and I took a trip down to TO this weekend. It ended up being just the two of us because everyone else either had school or work. Ah well, they missed a really fun time. We arrived in TO around midnight on Fri. and went to “Fox and the Fiddle”; there was pretty good [...] Today is Rememberance day; the day we remember the war veterans. Yasser Arafat passed away today as well. I’m pretty sure he died earlier, but they couldn’t make it official until they sorted out all this business of where he would be buried. It’s also my cousin’s 25th birthday. It might also be Gar’s birthday, [...] It appears that I offended a paki woman with my previous ‘culturally insensitive’ post. My response to her comment was: “Listen mom, you can’t take these things personally!” I’m kidding. My mom didn’t say that. I don’t even know if she read the post. And no (to some of my friends’ surprise), she does not [...] Chantal Petitclerc was at Pratt today telling her life story and achievements. It was quite interesting to see how people persevere and finally achieve their dreams. She also had a cute giggle when she would laugh at her own jokes. One thing that stuck with me was that she was competing with Louise Williams [...] |
