The temperature with the windchill was about -38 C. This is not quite the temperature where your face gets frozen stuck in the same position, but the temperature where the blowing cold causes your tears to freeze to your face. Being the intelligent kid that I am, I opted to stay in and assemble some IKEA furniture I bought almost 2 years ago at an employee TQ (tel-quel/as-is) sale. If you’re someone who shops at IKEA, make sure you check out the as-is section; you find some great deals there sometimes. Before I left I was a pro at these sales! At the last one I got a $300 patio table for my parent’s wedding anniversary for $30! 
Now that they are assembled (and I had all the hardware) allow me to share the happy news:
4 Drawer KURS (replaced by MALM) chest of drawers – Retail Price: ~$199.00 My price: $30. There’s a small scratch on the front side.
BONDE shelf unit – Retail Price: ~$160.00 My price: $10. Perfect condition.
JUSSI Glass Sideboard – Retail Price: ~$249.00 (I think?) My price: $30. Perfect condition; this is a beautiful unit. T has one as well which he uses as a liquor cabinet. Unfortunately this appears to be discontinued. I tried searching for “JUSSI” on the website, and only came up with the folding dining tables (pretty neat). I also have one of those, still in the box that I got for $30!
