I hate discussing my weaknesses (let along blogging about them), but I think this will help me think this through logically. After a conversation I had this weekend and after reading this quote, I realized that I’m a risk taker and quick to make decisions-but not when it comes to females. I never feel the need to “close the deal”. Once I know a girl likes me, this is usually enough for me and I’ll move on to the next challenge. However, am I not closing the deal because I’m afraid of getting shot down at the last minute, and this would kill my ego? Or is it that subconciously there’s still a part of me that thinks that ummm…”closing the deal” is morally wrong?
My cousin was shocked when I told him that girls have said things to me like: “…I’m more than comfortable to move things forward physically…” or “too bad you couldn’t come over, we could have been watching a movie…or doing something else.” He said that I was lucky that these girls (who are NOT easy) were spelling it out for me and that most girls will NEVER do that!
Side note: It’s interesting that while I’m writing about this topic, my friend just called to tell me that someone is about to “close a deal”. Girls: Be careful of boys who kiss and tell! 
Back on topic: Since girls usually don’t put themselves out that far, if a guy still doesn’t make a move at this point, I’m sure the girls think he’s not interested and move on. A girl once told me: “I’ve never liked a guy who didn’t like me back.” Obviously! She never admitted to liking a guy until she knew he liked her first! In my case, I can easily say I’ve never been shot down for “extras” but that’s also because I always waited till it was blatantly obvious or until “all factors were favourable”.
Lesson learned: Girls are like anything else in life. Some you win, some you lose. I can’t always wait for the writing on the wall. I have to learn to take more chances when it comes to dealing with the female species. I just don’t like losing when it comes to girls!!
