03:33 in Montreal; most of you are in dreamland! :) We landed in London at about 07:45 local time on the 28th. We all got day-travel passes so we could go around the city later and took the tube (metro/subway) to get to my aunt’s house. I should get to bed. Busy day tomorrow starting in 5 hours: bring my mom and sis to work/school, breakfast appointment, dentist’s appointment, bank appointment, barber’s appointment, lunch appointment, international driver’s license [...] 3 days left in Canada…here’s the latest: my grandfather (who’s 75!) and his assistant (who’s like my brother) have offered to come along with me to Sri Lanka for 2 months. I will be there until July-August. We’ll be getting on a plane on the 27th (my grandfather’s birthday! :)). Special thanks my Comp. Sci. [...] This is now the 3rd weekend in a row I’ve spent representing JMSB @ competitions! Crazy. I was hoping to attend this latest competition as a spectator but ended up being a competitor. I think I might now officially be a debate geek: I will propose three arguments as to why I am and I [...] Tonight, some of the commerce games students from the JMSB were invited to a networking cocktail hosted by McKinsey consulting. They’re the biggest consulting firm in the world. The company seems very interesting. They’ll definitely be getting a CV once I’m done! The things I do…it turns out I needed to take 5 shots before going to Sri Lanka because of the current situation! I hate needles! I kept telling the nurse I’m surprised that with today’s technology they haven’t found a better way to get this into your system. History: the [...] ****MASSIVE ENTRY WARNING****This weekend (Jan 13th-16th) I was at Queen’s University for the ICBC event. This time around I was on the MIS team. I lost (again.). I actually felt bad this time because [unlike last week, where I know we should have won] I felt like we had dropped the ball, and therefore we [...] Last weekend (Jan 7th-10th) I was at the commerce games. 14 universities from eastern Canada participated in academic and sports events. It was an incredible experience. JMSB has such an awesome school spirit it’s insane! I competed in the debating event where we came in 4th (not too shabby for a team of rookies!). I [...] Since I started blogging, 11 days without an entry is the longest I’ve gone! Tsk. Tsk. Tsk! I’ll get back into in the next few days.
