Do you believe there’s more than meets the eye? Do you believe in a spirit world we can’t see? I definitely do. I’ve always said I believe in God and spirits etc., because I have seen a few things first hand. Sri Lanka is known for witchcraft and such things. Here’s an example of an incident that just happened:
This random old man on the street in Jaffna called Kunju over. He looked at him and said “I know why you’re here.” My grandfather humors everyone, so he said: “OK, go ahead.” The man said a lot of things including: “You’ve come from a far place [OK, obvious], not for pleasure [not as obvious]. You’ve come to help the less fortunate. You haven’t saved any money, but what you have you spend on others. You’re old like me, but because you take care of others, others will take care of you for as long as you live. You look after other people’s children like your own [REALLY not obvious]. For this, your children, their children and their children’s children will be blessed. You may get sicknesses, but they will not last. You will have a peaceful death [that’s always good]. God is with you.”
I was glad this guy didn’t say anything creepy. Wait let me rephrase that. This whole incident was a little creepy, but he didn’t say anything negative.
