Last night, I overheard the girls saying that it was their mom’s birthday today. I hopped on a bicycle with Eben and ordered a cake last night. Today I went and picked it up and it was a very big surprise for her. She was happy and said that she hasn’t celebrated her birthday in years! For some reason, I like doing things for people’s birthdays whenever I can. I asked her how the cake was, and before she even put the first piece in her mouth she said: “Ah, it’s very nice.” We all were laughing because everyone saw she hadn’t even tasted the cake! I guess she was being nice in advance!
