It seems I have been passed a book baton by Electra. Thankfully while in Sri Lanka I did purchase [and read] a bunch of books. I would have been a little embarassed if I had got this 6 months ago! No crazy stories this time unfortunately. Well, we did see 3 fights in one night; one was a full brawl with like 8 people involved! I got to see GI Gio who I hadn’t seen since last year. When you go to register for a blood test, they have to fill out some forms because a computer generates labels for the vials your blood goes into and makes sure the results go to the right place. I always carefully watch the labels printed because this tells me how many bottles [...] While sitting around listening to Outkast’s Bombs Over Baghdad this afternoon, I got a phone call from an unrecognized number. I picked up the phone and it was someone calling to check a job reference. Somehow I feel very important when I’m asked to be someone’s job reference! ;) Anyway, as I did with the [...] Alternate Title: “Look! It’s Colonel Sanders!” There are much more interesting conversations going on about Lakshman Kadirgamar in the Sri Lankan blogosphere – one discussing conspiracy theories and another discussing how lots of people immediately blamed the LTTE.
