Not once did I get [even slightly] sick while I was in Sri Lanka. It looks like the 6 months I spent there finally took its toll. I got in and was perfectly fine for two days then my body decided to shutdown. I just spent the last 5 days in hospital; seems I gave everyone here quite a scare. Bad news is: they still don’t know what I have. The good news: Everyone was really nice. Most of the nurses and the medicine expert who checked me were very cute as well!
Anyway, I’m still not feeling up to par, so I’ll blog about my very first hospital experience once I feel a bit better.

Me in the emergency room after 4 blood tests.
Doctor: “How are you feeling?”
Me: “Pretty weak considering the amount of blood you guys are pulling out of me.”
Doctor: “I hate to tell you this: we didn’t pull out that much blood.”
Me: “Really? Hmm. Well, I guess I’m just one of those strange people who likes keeping their blood IN their body.”
Doctor: “Right.”
