What's Been Happening

Quick summary of the last 6 days:

Thur/Fri: Went to OT (Ottawa) to see E. Nothing terribly exciting. No crazy stories this time unfortunately. Well, we did see 3 fights in one night; one was a full brawl with like 8 people involved! I got to see GI Gio who I hadn’t seen since last year. She said that the second she saw me, I looked older- not physically, but older as in I’d “grown up”. I figured that 6 months living in a third world country and doing the things I was doing will definitely change your perspective on things, so maybe that was it.

Sat: Drove back to MTL (Montreal) with E to make it in time for Joanna’s surprise birthday party. Yes, nothing like a bunch of 14 year old girls who don’t stop talking. Joining us for the ride home were the GI and her sister because they had some kind of family BBQ thing happening. Joanna’s party was alright. E entertained some of the guests with his usual crazy stories and we played a game of Taboo. Later that night we ended up at Orchid with Gio, E and some of his friends and the lovely Steph from commerce games who I hadn’t seen for a while! Good times!

Sun: Chilled with E for a while in the morning, dropped him at the bus station and then went to Church.

Mon: Went out for coffee with an old friend from IKEA. I met her at 20:00 and we managed to sit there and chat till 23:00ish. Never a dull moment. It’s cool when you have friends that you can just sit and talk with for that amount of time!!

Tue: My grandparent’s 45th wedding anniversary! :) In the morning I went to IKEA with gems to get some stuff for her new place and then she came over for a very nice BBQ lunch (which was cooked by me- COOKED by me…prepared by my mom :P ). I went to get mom and sis at work and went to Kunju and Ammah’s house with the anniversary cake. Later that night went to chill with T and Isa for a while.

Today: Went to see the doc who said my whatever levels are getting back to normal (still no drinking for at least 3 weeks!!) Went to meet the director’s of co-ops because I have to give a speech to the new students tomorrow. Met my old manager who was pretty much my mentor at IKEA. That was pretty fun. I hadn’t seen him for over a year as well. That’s it, that’s all.

I realize this post might be kinda’ boring, but I’m sorry. Nothing I can think of that’s really newsworthy happened lately…oh wait:

This website did hit the 10,000 visitors mark yesterday! :D
