Alternate Title: “Look! It’s Colonel Sanders!”
There are much more interesting conversations going on about Lakshman Kadirgamar in the Sri Lankan blogosphere – one discussing conspiracy theories and another discussing how lots of people immediately blamed the LTTE. I actually was brave and decided to put my 2 cents into that political discussion because someone mentioned: “Tamils being educated and fattened in the western world coming back to rule the poor people!”. Come on now…LOL I will let the experts discuss politics and perhaps I will attempt to say something intelligent and/or meaningful at times. Allow me to change topics…
A friend asked me why I needed a camera phone if I had a digicam. I told her that many of my stories sound so crazy and/or unbelievable that often I need witnesses or some kind of proof. Better yet, the frequency of random things that happen to me is so high, that again, it’s difficult to believe. THIS is why I need a camera phone. If it’s something random I can take a picture of, I’ll have proof. Here’s a classic example of something random:
What are the odds that the guy standing in front of me at KFC looks just like Col. Sanders (the KFC guy)!? For those of you who don’t know who Col. Sanders is, I managed to take this pic at just the right angle so you can see his portrait on the wall. See? You can be much more discreet with a camera PHONE when you need to take pics like this!
