After 60 hours of preparation…we won FIRST place AND the Student’s Choice Award!!! :D The toughest judge told us that our team was in the top 3 presentations he’s ever seen in the history of this competition! Now time to go out and party… Yes, we don’t look as good as we normally do. We haven’t [...] Yesterday we met at the airport at 06:30, took a plane to Chicago, had about a 45 min break and came to Austin. The city is pretty nice, not very densely populated but it is a university town, so it should be fun. I was expecting it be a little warmer but they’re having a [...] I’m leaving to Texas in a few hours to compete in the International Business Challenge, which, this year, is sponsored by Caterpillar, Deloitte, Ford, GE and Philip Morris. Some of the best business schools from around the globe will be competing and JMSB is sending a team of 4 of us down. “We pick 4 [...] I’m halfway through what [I think] will be the toughest week of the semester. Who would’ve thought trying to take school seriously for once would be so much work! Looking at my calendar is freaking me out. I have a networks assignment (which I’ve decided I’m not doing) due today, my first real ‘career job’ interview [...] I thought this seemed a little random, but I wonder if shopping at IKEA inspired this recent Dilbert strip? Maybe you’ll only find this funny if you’ve worked and/or shopped at IKEA. ;) I haven’t seen something this funny in a while! Of course most information is still private, but there’s a lot of interesting things to look at. Apparently the site recorded more than 3.5 million visitors in the first few hours!
