What an amazing month. This morning I finalized the details and accepted an offer for my very first real ‘career’ job with a top tier consulting firm! :) My start date will be around mid-August after I come back from Europe. I thought the final interview on Friday went really badly, so I was absolutely thrilled to hear the news yesterday. After we worked out the details and I accepted this morning, I thought:
My grades have never been as good as they should have been, because I don’t study. BUT- You get good grades in high school to get into a good college. You get good grades in college to get into a good university. You get good grades in university to get a good job. Now I’ve got the good job. Let’s see what’s next…
The team members I met during the process were all dynamic and enthusiastic about their jobs so I think this is going to be an excellent learning experience and an exciting challenge for me! I can’t wait to get started!! :)
