We (Manuela, Janna, Anna, Jamie and I) took a trip to the IKEA this evening. I don’t think this was the biggest IKEA in the world because I really wasn’t impressed. I also found it very dark inside. It wasn’t the nice, bright, clean IKEA I’m used to seeing. The girls told me that in Germany the IKEA has 2 floors- the market place and the showroom (like in Montreal). This IKEA appeared to be split-level. There were like 4 or 5 floors and they were fairly small. I ended up buying a few floor mats and some slippers.
Afterwards, I went and did some grocery shopping at a much better (and cheaper) store. I finally bought some meat, eggs and cheese so I will be able to [attempt to] cook some better stuff!
