Exploring St. Andrews

**The following events took place on April 14th 2006 between the hours of 12:00 and 17:00**

I was told St. Andrews was a beautiful place and Savi offered to give me a tour, so I took her up on it. I didn’t realize that she actually did this as a job for her school, so she was in fact the ideal person to show me around this small city. Savi, if you read this and I’ve made mistakes or forgotten some things, please feel free to comment! :)

You have to cross this bridge to get from Edinburgh to St. Andrews (had I been going by train I would have actually been ON the bridge). The second picture is the castle which is clearly in ruins. :)

This the cathedral/cemetary in St. Andrews.

A picture of the city before I met up with Savi to see the Uni. The second picture is one of the main buildings and the last one is a chapel at the school. Apparently one of the highlights of the Uni (and St. Andrews itself, I believe) is that Prince William attended St. Andrews.

St. Andrews is accepted as the birthplace of Golf. Here are some pictures of the courses. You can see the gorgeous mountains in the second picture.
