New "Blogs I Enjoy"

The upgrade to blogger beta is more or less complete. I say “more or less” because I’m still annoyed that the Peek-a-book comments don’t work and I hope to figure something out. I did get them working, but the way the comments show up is ugly (the format I mean).

You’ll probably notice I’ve now got 3 columns in the layout. I thought it looks a little busy, but the stuff in the side columns is important and I didn’t want people to have to scroll down to see everything. I’ll see how it works out. I’ve also noticed that post summary feed doesn’t seem to show up on Kottu either. I’ll have to see if maybe they’ve got the wrong feed address or something.

Finally, I’ve made a couple of additions to the “Blogs I Enjoy” section as well. Here they are:

Peerpole Factsasy

This is a blog by Damon Z who comments on here every once in a while. I managed to meet him for lunch one day before he headed back to the States. He was the youngest MBA student I’ve ever met. Damon, if you read this: How old were you when you finished the MBA? He’s a very nice guy who’s got some interesting stuff on his blog. He’s also got some new plans for content in 2007, so I’m looking forward to seeing how his blog evolves. Check it out.

The Darwin Awards

Ahhh..where to begin? I’m sure most of the SL bloggers know about Darwin’s blog. I was first introduced to it a few months ago and I’ll admit I thought it was a pointless rant blog at first. The funny thing was, I found myself reading it fairly regularly and eventually found that there was a lot of other good content besides the rants. I like how [similarly to me] Darwin doesn’t seem to care what others think and is happy to say anything. A warning to the faint-hearted or to those who can’t handle excessive swearing every once in a while: Unlike my blog, I wouldn’t rate Darwin’s at a PG-13 level! ;) Enjoy!
