It has come to my attention that because my Gmail account is connected to this blogger account all my posts (and now, comments) are signed as “Ian Selvarajah” rather than the1truecoolguy.

I thought back to when RD discussed my choice of a nickname a while ago in this post:

“I have spent way too much time wondering if, and when, he’ll regret choosing that name. I reckon by the time he gets to 26 he’ll be wishing that he’d chosen something more like “Ian Selvarajah” as opposed to something that will definitely embarass him in the future.”

Oh well, looks like it has changed, not due to embarrassment, but a technicality! No regrets! I guess Google is telling me it’s time to grow out of the nickname. That’s fine. If you’re curious as to where, when and how the nickname came about and why it stuck, see here.

LD – Well, I didn’t change any settings, so if you’re concerned about your anonymity, you might want to create a separate email account for your blog just in case! ;) I’m not going to bother trying to change it. No problem! :)

Yes, I think their names were inspired by mine! :P AND (you can ask her about this) although I’m older than her, she’s technically my aunt! Ha ha ha Aunty Ivana

    T – Hmmm…if GOOGLE is telling me I’m not cool, I think I’ve got a serious problem!!

Well, if you are really concerned, login to blogger, edit your profile and change your display name

BM – Thanks! I wasn’t going to bother changing it, but once I saw an easy fix, I couldn’t resist! :)
